Quality Pulse is showcasing a case study and demo reel of a 3-D seizure animation created for Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago. Since the Quality Pulse site is setup as one Flash file which prohibits deep links, I created a video of the navigation steps to show you how to access the case study description and see a piece of the animation at the beginning of the demo reel. From a digital learning perspective, this is a great example of how 3-D animation can be used to explain and education parents and families on activities where using real videoe clips are a violation of patient privacy. This 3-D animation is effective in conveying to a viewer what the seizure experience is like for a child. Notice the use of music.
The navigational steps:
1. After you click on the link below, select Portfolio, Case Studies, boy's eye icon.
2. After reading the case study, select Demo Reels, Medical 3D Animations. If the video lags, click the stop button to allow for buffering, then click play to view.
